Refund Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for Historical Connect purchases, including app subscriptions, App Store and Google Play transactions, Internet plans and eSIM packages.
Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase, whether the service has been activated or consumed, and the policies of the platform through which you paid.
App Store Purchases (iOS)
Subscriptions and in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple. Historical Connect cannot directly issue refunds for App Store transactions.
To request a refund for an Apple purchase:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Locate your Historical Connect purchase and follow Apple's refund request process
Apple evaluates refund requests under its applicable policies and terms. Approval is at Apple's discretion.
Google Play Purchases (Android)
Subscriptions and in-app purchases made through Google Play are billed and managed by Google. Refund requests for Google Play purchases must be submitted through Google Play using the refund options available in your account or order history.
Google's refund eligibility rules vary by product type, purchase timing and region. Historical Connect cannot override Google Play refund decisions.
App Subscriptions
Canceling a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current billing period. You typically retain access to subscription features until the end of the paid period.
- iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Historical Connect > Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Historical Connect > Cancel
Free trials, if offered, must be cancelled before the trial ends to avoid being charged for the subsequent subscription period, according to the platform's billing rules.
Internet Plans
Internet data plans may be refundable only if they have not been activated or substantially consumed, subject to the terms shown at purchase and applicable platform rules. Once a plan has been activated and data use has begun, refunds may not be available except where required by law or where a verified technical failure prevented delivery of the purchased service.
eSIM and Data Packages
eSIM plans are digital products that may become non-refundable once provisioned, downloaded or activated on a device. Unused plans that have not been activated may be eligible for review on a case-by-case basis through the Support Center, but we cannot guarantee refunds after provisioning has started.
Before purchasing, confirm that your device supports eSIM and that the selected destination plan is compatible with your travel needs.
Activated and Consumable Services
Services that are activated, consumed or delivered digitally — including activated eSIM profiles, used data allowances and completed provisioning — are generally not eligible for refund because the purchased service has already been delivered.
Duplicate Purchases
If you believe you were charged twice for the same purchase, contact us through the Support Center with your order details. If the duplicate charge is verified and refund authority rests with us, we will work to resolve it. If the charge was processed by Apple or Google, you may also need to request assistance through the relevant app store.
Technical Failure Cases
If a purchased service fails due to a verified technical issue on our side and cannot be delivered or restored after reasonable support efforts, we may offer a replacement, credit or refund where permitted by the purchase platform and applicable law. Contact the Support Center before initiating a platform refund when possible so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Cancellation vs. Refund
Canceling a subscription or plan prevents future charges but is not the same as receiving a refund for amounts already paid. Refund requests must be submitted through the appropriate process for your purchase type.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available for:
- Partially used subscription periods after cancellation
- Activated or consumed Internet or eSIM services
- Purchases outside the applicable app store refund window, where platform policy applies
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Issues caused by incompatible devices, unsupported regions or user configuration errors where the service was delivered as described
