Refund Policy

At Historical Connect, we want you to be fully satisfied with your experience. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for purchases made through our application.

App Store Purchases (iOS)

All subscriptions and in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed and managed by Apple. Refund requests for iOS purchases must be submitted directly to Apple:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Sign in with your Apple ID
  • Locate your Historical Connect purchase and select "Report a Problem"
  • Follow Apple's instructions to request a refund

Apple's refund decisions are made at their sole discretion and are subject to their terms and conditions. We do not have the ability to process refunds for App Store transactions directly.

Google Play Purchases (Android)

Subscriptions and in-app purchases made through Google Play are processed and managed by Google. Refund requests for Android purchases must be submitted through Google Play:

  • Open the Google Play Store app
  • Tap your profile icon, then select "Payments & subscriptions" > "Budget & history"
  • Find your Historical Connect purchase and select "Request a refund"
  • Alternatively, visit play.google.com/store/account

Google's refund policy allows refunds within 48 hours of purchase for most items. After this window, refund eligibility is determined by Google.

Subscription Cancellations

Canceling a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period. To cancel:

  • iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Historical Connect > Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Historical Connect > Cancel

Free Trial Period

If Historical Connect offers a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. To avoid being charged, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Charges after a trial period are non-refundable unless required by applicable law or the respective app store's policies.

Exceptional Circumstances

If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from using secure access or private connectivity features, please contact us through the in-app support channel before requesting a refund. We will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly. In cases where we are unable to provide a working solution, we may assist you with the refund process through the appropriate app store.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Partial subscription periods after cancellation
  • Purchases made more than the app store's refund window ago
  • Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
