Welcome to Historical Connect. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Historical Connect mobile application, website and related services. By downloading, installing, accessing or using Historical Connect, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Historical Connect. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Historical Connect. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Some features, purchases or regions may have additional eligibility requirements.

Description of Historical Connect

Historical Connect is a travel application that integrates four major service areas:

• Location — secure global connection and selectable locations for protected connectivity while traveling.
• Internet — travel internet and data plan purchase and management.
• eSIM — international eSIM plan purchase, installation and management on supported devices.
• AI Guide — AI-powered travel assistance including chat, maps, recommendations and travel tools.

Features, plans, pricing and availability may vary by region, device and account status. We may modify, add or remove features over time.

Location / Secure Connection

Location allows you to establish a secure, encrypted connection through selected global locations. You are responsible for using Secure Connection lawfully and in compliance with applicable local laws and network policies in your location. Secure Connection is not a guarantee of anonymity, immunity from legal process, or uninterrupted availability in every region or network environment.

Internet

Internet services provide travel data connectivity subject to plan limits, validity periods, network coverage and technical compatibility. Actual speeds, latency and availability may vary. Usage limits and plan terms displayed in the app apply to your purchase.

eSIM

eSIM services require a compatible device that supports eSIM installation and activation. You are responsible for verifying device compatibility before purchase. Once an eSIM profile is activated or consumed, it may not be transferable to another device or user. eSIM availability may vary by destination, carrier partner and device configuration.

AI Guide

AI Guide provides informational and assistive travel content generated with AI technology. AI responses may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. You should independently verify important information relating to safety, health, legal requirements, bookings, transport schedules, pricing, weather and emergency situations.

Maps, nearby recommendations, restaurant and hotel suggestions, weather, currency conversion, translation, transport guidance, world clock and emergency or SOS information are provided for general informational purposes only and are not professional advice.

Emergency disclaimer: AI Guide is not a substitute for local emergency services. In an emergency, contact appropriate local emergency authorities immediately. Do not rely on AI Guide as your sole source of emergency assistance.

Account Responsibility

If account registration is required, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly through the Support Center if you suspect unauthorized access.

Purchases, Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features, subscriptions, Internet plans and eSIM packages may be offered through the app. Purchases made via the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to the applicable store's terms and billing processes. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your platform account settings before the renewal date.

Prices, taxes and available plans may change. Any promotional or trial terms displayed at the time of purchase apply to that offer.

Usage Limits and Fair Use

Plans may include data caps, speed limits, session limits, destination restrictions or other usage conditions disclosed in the app. Excessive, abusive or automated use that interferes with service integrity may result in throttling, suspension or termination.

Availability by Region

Not all services are available in every country or territory. Location availability, Internet coverage, eSIM destinations and AI Guide features may differ by region. We do not guarantee that any specific service will be available at your destination.

Network and Device Compatibility

Service performance depends on your device, operating system version, carrier configuration, local network conditions and third-party infrastructure. You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device and software version where required.

Lawful Use

You agree to use Historical Connect only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

Prohibited Misuse

You must not:

• Use the service for illegal, harmful, fraudulent or abusive activity
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Reverse engineer, scrape or exploit the app except as permitted by law
• Resell, sublicense or share access in unauthorized ways
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Misrepresent your identity or misuse AI Guide to generate harmful or unlawful content

Intellectual Property

Historical Connect, including its software, design, branding, content and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, lawful purposes.

Service Changes

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of Historical Connect at any time. Where reasonable, we will provide notice of material changes through the app, website or platform update notes.

Third-Party and Platform Dependencies

Historical Connect relies on third-party platforms and service providers, including app stores, connectivity partners, mapping services and AI processing providers. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but we seek to work with reliable providers.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or harm to the service or others, or where required by law. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Historical Connect is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Historical Connect and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service should first be addressed through good-faith contact via our Support Center.
